Born and raised in Chicopee, MA, Wayne Is a songwriter, vocalist, performer and multi-instrumentalist.
He is the co-founder, songwriter and front-man of the Massachusetts-based band Drunk in July, which spawned 2 albums. WM also went on to write and record 2 solo albums, and is currently in the stages of composing a third. In addition to Drunk in July, he also founded the band The Glorious Unknown, originally formed as a backing band to support the Wayne Morphew live shows that were dedicated to showcase the original WM album tracks.
While working with Drunk in July and writing solo projects, WM is still very active performing solo at private and public events, restaurants, and entertainment venues across the Northeast; something he has been doing consistently for 25 years.
Always looking to collaborate, he also enjoys writing and performing with guitarist Dan Goldthwaite as the duo Jukebox Time Machine.
In his personal time, Wayne enjoys reading, writing, traveling, coffee, music, hiking, mountains, fires, Patriots football, horror movies, the beach and most of all spending time with his Wife and two children at their home in Maine.
